Week of the Young Child

Week of the Young Child is April 13-19, 2008. This year’s theme is “Bring Communities Together for Children...Children Bring Communities Together.”  Established by NAEYC in 1971, Week of the Young Child is a time to celebrate young children and those who care for them. Week of the Young Child events celebrate how the early years build a foundation for children’s success in school and in life. Take this time to come together with others in your community to support children and to celebrate the ways that children bring your community together!

To receive FREE educational resources and stickers to share at your event, compliments of VAEYC, or to share your special event or help raise awareness surrounding Week of the Young Child, please email VAEYC board member Sandra Graves or call 802-651-4180 x207.
